Does this work?
In this, the first episode of Store Bought and Easy Vegan I am showcasing a meal idea featuring a product I found at Aldi called Sweet Chilli and Garlic sauce. It was super cheap so I thought I would give it a try.
After cooking with it a few times with different ingredients I settled on Tender Stem Broccoli with Pineapple, Spinach and Beansprouts in Aldi's Sweet Chilli and Garlic Sauce on a bed of rice noodles topped with watercress and sesame seeds.
This dish takes about 10 mins to cook, serves 2 people, costs just 3 quid to make and is incredibly tasty.
Ingredients for a 2 person serving as follows
1 pouch of Aldi's Sweet Chilli & Garlic Sauce
2 portions of Beanshoots
2 portions of Tenderstem Broccoli
2 portions of Rice Noodles
1 1/2 inch slice of ripe Pineapple
1 handful of Baby Spinach
Himalayan Sea Salt to taste
Top with Sesame Seeds and Watercress.
